Divine Dark Chocolate & Date Bars

These divine no-bake dark chocolate & date ‘snicker’ bars hit the spot for an afternoon snack or something sweet post dinner. You can batch cook them and store them in your freezer for future snacks.

Ingredients

  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 3 medjool dates, in pieces
  • 1 small banana
  • 5 rice cakes, crushed
  • 80g peanut butter
  • 100g maple syrup
  • 25g peanuts

Method

  1. Combine the maple syrup and peanut butter into a bowl. Crumble in the rice cakes and peanuts. Mix altogether and add to a small tray lined with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate
  3. Add the pieces of dates and sliced banana evenly on top of the mixture
  4. Cover with chocolate and place in the freezer for an hour.
